Brandenburg Gate is a place that must be visited by everyone coming to Berlin. This is the landmark attraction that stood between the West and East Berlin during the division and Cold War. This gate became legendary in the year 1989 when the Berlin wall fell and Germany was reunited.

The German Parliament’s traditional seat is the famous Reichstag. This building was remodelled in the year 1990 when it was decorated with a glass dome which provides visitors a stunning Berlin skyline view and an interesting view of the parliament proceedings.

The East Side Gallery in Berlin is Berlin Wall’s most colourful section which divided West and East Berlin. This is the last existing piece of the original wall. Today it is the most spectacular open air gallery which is the largest in the world. This gallery displays at least hundred International artist’s paintings.

The Holocaust Memorial is a tribute to the Jews of Europe who were murdered. This moving monument was designed by Peter Eisenmann and is spread over 4.7 acres. The 2,500 geometrically arranged pillars look stunning. Names of all the victims can be found at the underground museum situated close to the memorial.

Potsdamer Platz is a fascinating shopping centre and movie mall constructed with Utopian architecture. This is where the annual Berlin International Film Festival is held. One of the interesting features here is the Mount Fuji shaped Sony Centre which is colourfully lit during the nights.

There is a Cathedral and five internationally renowned museums at the Museums Island, a UNESCO world heritage site. Unter den Linden Boulevard starts from the Brandenburg Gate and goes right up to the Museums Island.
